Onlangs plaatsten we nog het bericht dat de fusie tussen Volkswagen en Porsche wat vertraging kende, maar nu kunnen we melden dat de fusie tussen de twee dichterbij is dan ooit. Porsche is nu voor het grooste onderdeel van de Volkswagen Groep.

Volkswagen beheert nu Porsche’s retail business, Porsche Informatik, Porsche Bank, Porsche Immobilien, Porsche Versicherung en PGA Motors welke nu allemaal zijn gevestigd in Parijs.

“The business performance of Porsche Holding Salzburg is outstanding. It is one of the world’s most efficient and profitable automobile trading companies and will therefore significantly strengthen the Volkswagen Groups sales activities,” aldus Martin Winterkorn, CEO van Volkswagen.
